I have to say that while I enjoyed this book, and will definitely read the next one, I don't feel the overwhelming desire to gush like lots of the other reviewers out there. The book was slow to start for me, but definitely ended with a bang. I found the characters engaging, and I did enjoy the world-building, but there wasn't enough backstory for me.
