I loved the first book in this series, and really didn't care for this one at all. It was extremely well-written, the plot continued the story arc from Book one. But to me, the heroine's character did a complete 180, and I no longer like her as a person. I get why that happened, but since I am no longer rooting for her to emerge triumphant from her battles, I am less invested in finding out how it finishes.
