This was a wonderful read. I loved how the Others(vampires, werewolves, elementals) were not fluffy human wanna bes. The view humans as meat, and that's essentially how they treat them. In runs Meg, escaping from her previous life. We learn about what she is (not exactly human, but essentially so) and how she interacts with the others. I cannot wait for the next one in the series.
