I absolutely loved this book (except for the kindle typos, but I don't blame the author for that). To me this is a cross between Buffy the Vampire Slayer (see why I liked it?!) and the Fever series. But it doesn't feel derivative in any sense to me. I found the storytelling phenomenal, the characters engaging and the worldbuilding quite fascinating, and some parts actually laugh out loud funny. (one such quote "probably not a Kindle kind of guy. Just a guess.") I had absolutely no problem stepping into the main characters shoes, and inhabiting this world from her viewpoint. I was actually 21 once upon a time, and her reactions felt very real to me as viewed from that perspective. And is the King of the Vampires ever an Alpha Male! Some of the scenes with him were smoking hot!
