I really enjoyed this 5th book in the Persephone Alcmedi series. I love the writing, the world-building, the characters and the plot (although this was less action filled than some of the previous books, it certainly advanced the story-line). So why not 5 stars. Two reasons. Everything told from Persephone's perspective was first person, but sometimes we got the story from some of the other characters perspectives and it was 3rd person. I got really confused sometimes by the switches, although it did advance the plot by telling the story that way. And the ending, while not a cliff-hanger, left way too many loose threads. Of course I will read the next book in the series, it is that good, but I didn't like the untidiness of the ending.
