I was completely frustrated with this book, and I have always been a huge fan of this series, as well as Richelle Mead's other series. But the choices that Eugenie makes in this book, and some of the one's that she made in the Iron Crown, drove me nuts. Specifically, she had to talk herself into getting back together with Dorian. If you have to talk yourself into it, you don't really love him. (although I missed the hot bdsm scenes from earlier books!) Also, she finds out that Dorian is actually the father of her twins and yet decides that she can't tell him that, even though the reason she wasn't sure she should get back together with him was that she didn't trust him. Finally, I figured out that Pagiel was Storm King's oldest grandson pretty early, so I was not surprised by that at all.
