I enjoyed this final book in the Samantha Jax series the best. I will repeat what I've said in the previous books, there is something about the editing of these books that does not sit well with me, there is too much jumping around without clear delineation of the time or location changes. What I have liked all along is the world building, the characters that surround Jirantha, and the challenges that she faces. I never feel like she gets the easy way out, even when she makes bad choices. And huge kudos to Ms. Aguirre for not giving Sirantha a happily ever after ending with March. She did not need it or deserve it! It makes the book resonate with me more.
